NOTE: The Hale's Bar Dam was demolished in the late 1960s after a new dam was built six miles downstream because continuing leakage problems at the Hale's Bar Dam could not be remedied. Tracking is now require(d by eBay, which is why shipping is now over $2 -- tracking requires that even postcards be shipped as a first class PACKAGE -- which is far more expensive than simply mailing as a first class letter.
