Description: Measures approximately 12 5/8 inches tall, 6 3/8 inches wide, and 3 1/4 inches deep. Beautiful antique, pre Columbian MesoAmerican hand carved stone artifact of a man wearing a headdress. Figure has nicely carved details. Stone is a mix of greens and black and most likely a type of granite. Surface wear, dirt, and mineral deposits present, most likely from previously being buried in dirt. Statue has a base that is not completely flat, so new owner may need to use some type of stand to properly and safely display it. Previous owner used bits of adhesive tabs as an attempt at leveling the piece for display purposes. Small bits of adhesive residue is still present. A small hairline crack is present in the headdress section on the left hand side. Weighs approximately 10 pounds by itself.
