The message on the reverse of the card is roughly translated as "I am fine" and "sending kisses". The woman's portrait was taken by Studio Polda, located in Vire, France. Studio Polda was operated by photographers, Paulette and Daniel Urbain. They used the pseudonym Polda as the name of their studio. The pair are well known for taking several hundred photographs of Vire in ruins, and during reconstruction post World War II. Today many of their photographs are housed in the "Musee de Vire-Normandie" in Vire. This postcard has edgewear along the bottom border and corner wear at the bottom left corner of the card. Overall, this vintage postcard is in good condition (see scans).
