Description: A very rare first edition of The Russo-Japanese War published in 1904. This work, entitled simply after the war between Russia and Japan, covers the reasons for the uprising as well as the outcomes, focusing on the rulership over Korea and Manchuria. This book was written as a first-hand account of the first great war of the 20th-century and includes reports, anecdotes, military records, and photographs from the war. We are clearing out an estate and this book was found in storage. We are not book aficionados and therefore can not place a condition on it. The binding clearly is worn and there is a stain on the front cover. All of the pages are intact, with no writing or scribbling on them. The pages appear in good to very good condition. For an ole girl, she seems to be holding up well. Please see all photos as they are part of the description.
