Description: Add a touch of elegance to your drinkware collection with these rare Georges Briard mid-century modern white icicle low ball glasses. Georges Briard was an American designer born in what is now Ukraine, working during the 50's, 60's and 70's -- or as we call MCM. These seven (12 oz. 4" tall/3" round.) bright White Icicle lowballs have never been used. Like the Havillands and other Limoges artists of their time, after graduating from the Art Institute of Chicago, Briard would purchases blanks made by Libbey and Anchor Hocking and design. Then glass makers came to him. This glass was sold by Neiman Marcus or Bonwit Teller. These are a VERY rare find, particularly in white.
