Reed & Barton Sterling Silver Letter Opener - 1776 Liberty Bell - 9"

Description: Issued in 1976 for the US Bicentennial, this 9" sterling silver letter opener is marked at the top "1776" and a fabulous etching of the Liberty Bell. Due to reflections, I had a difficult time photographing so please enlarge the picture so you can clearly see this celebration of our country. Stamped "Reed & Barton Sterling" on the back. Slightly tarnished which I think adds character but careful cleaning with silver polish will brighten it up and create a more shiny look. Since it has been used and enjoyed, even after polishing there may be minor signs of wear, scuffs, tiny nicks or light scratches so please look closely at pictures to make sure this is acceptable to you.
