Note that the ribbon cable should have 1 twist when connecting to the board (the original strip stayed flat). Just make sure the contacts touch the socket contacts. :) In case of erratic light behavior, it's probably backwards. Clean the area where the tape will stick, peel the protective tape strip, carefully align (the tape strip should be on TOP of the holes - Green LED is Power LED), and stick! Press firmly to ensure it's good and stuck. Good as new. Ships USPS First Class in a flat mailer.
