Adding flowers makes it look like she has them in her basket. It's a lovely, finely-made porcelain object, just a few years off being antique (100 years old). Made in the 1930's (The bottom mark identifies this time period) it is at least 93. If you collect fine antique European china objects, this might be one for you!
