Description: For sale is a vintage Royal Safari in a rare mustard yellow color, this was Royal's flagship portable manual typewriter for the 1960's and have a lot of neat features like a key set tab, touch selector, full keyboard and the Safari's signature "Magic Margins". This machine is in pretty good shape with very little marring, which I noticed is common with Safaris. Both the typewriter and case have been cleaned, and works nicely with the type slugs de-clogged and new black/red bichrome ribbon pre-installed for the best print quality; which is the smaller 12 pitch Elite font. Also included is the original manual, features tag, and warranty card. This typewriter still holds some of the musty smell despite heavy cleaning, but it dissipates after being left out of the case for awhile.
