Description: Set of three new, unused, Russell knives. These don't say 'Green River' on the blade, but it's the same company, the same knife, all the way back to the 1818. The blades are carbon steel. They will rust if not cared for. They will also take a razor's edge quite easily. These are the same patterns carried by mountain men, fur traders, civil war soldiers, and your great great grandmother. The only difference from the early ones is the number of rivets in the handle. These are still made from American steel and American wood, and still made in Massachusetts. Two of these are stamped with a snake and 'Don't tread on me' on the wood. These knives will arrive shiny and sharp. If you want to look authentic, you can patina them easily with vinegar, mustard, use in the kitchen, etc. You'll have to make your own sheath from your leftover buckskin. These are new from the factory, but may have scuffing on the steel from being loose packed in the original shipping box. The dollar and the sharpie are there for scale. You will get the three knives in the pictures. I keep the dollar and the sharpie. Shipping on these is $8.00 USPS.American bidders only, please.Thanks.
