Description: Entr’acte, Vladimir Koshevnikoff. 1936. London: Cobden Sanderson. 8vo. First edition. Trans. Denis Oglander. A scarce first edition by Koshevnikoff, a Russian author believed to have been a student and friend of Vladimir Nabokov. The striking dust jacket is uncredited but could perhaps be a design from C. W. Bacon. This copy with the author’s signature on red card cut and affixed to the front endpaper. A very good book with a few minor marks to the cloth, the binding tight with a gentle lean and internally mostly clean, denotation of the signature in ink, with a little offsetting and light scattered foxing in places. The dust jacket very good, unclipped with a few corners chipped and nicked, one or two small closed tears and a little grubbiness, but presentable and scarce in jacket, especially so with the cut signature.
