Description: Snake Drape water goblet clear AKA: Drapery produced by Richards and Hartley Flint Glass Company circa 1870. The glass is clear and any colors you see in the photographs are reflections from indoors where I photographed the piece. This water goblet has the bubbles, waviness, and straw marks common in Early American Pressed Glass. Three-part mold and color and clarity are normal for this pattern. There is minor mold roughness on the stem and wear on base is commensurate with age. Crisp impression from the mold. There some tiny chips above the design motif, and some light scratches to the inside from use. Weight before packing 8.85 oz. Please email with questions or comments. Whimsical and unusual pattern. Height 5 ¾” diameter 2 15/16”.
