Not uncommon to find 19th century pamphlets where the author notated copies. From the text: The worship of Almighty God is the most solemn act the mind of man is capable of being engaged in. It is an intercourse between him and us, in which the soul, divested of outward things, pours forth all its wants into the bosom of an Almighty Friend …, etc. etc.The pamphlet measures 4 ¼ x 7 ¼ inches, printed wrappers, sewn binding, 16 pages, some soiling to covers and faint stain and bottom of first several pages, dog-eared throughout at lower right otherwise in good condition, binding is tight and intact, odor free.A rare Quaker pamphlet, absent from the trade, it will be a nice addition to your collection.
