Description: Offered here is a beautiful mobile of carved backyard birds by master wood carver Casey Edwards. I purchased this item directly from the artist earlier this year but have decided to flip this item to make room for new artwork. This unique mobile, entitled "Casey's Flyers," features 5 hand-carved and hand-painted songbird: Baltimore Oriole, chickadee, goldfinch, bluejay and a cardinal. This creative work of art measures 22" from the top of the mobile to the bottom of the Baltimore oriole, and the varnished pine branch brackets measure 13" across. The chickadee and goldfinch are life-size measuring 5" long each and the other three birds are just a little smaller than life-size measuring 8" each, and all the bird's wing spans are 8". There is carved and painted feather detail throughout these beauties, having raised and turned heads, curved and cupped wings, semi-fanned tails, and detail in their faces, and please zoom in to see the nicely painted feather patterns. The eye screws are situated so they are hanging in positions where you can see both their underside and back feathering.
