Description: This is for a Spackman & Thomas Livery Stable Trade Card located at Sixth St & Columbia - I figure it is either New York or Washington DC. Dated 1878 and is a lithograph by Currier & Ives Picture of a Harness Racing Horse (or Trotter) walking back to the paddock with the owners and colored stable boys looking forlorn after a loss. Has the inscription of "The Sports Who Lost Their Tin". Very nice condition with minor mounting remnants on the reverse.
