Description: SWORD by CAMILLUS 2-BLADE JACKNIFE w' HOMEMADE WIRE STRIPPER, VINTAGE: I found this knife at a gun show in Wisconsin recently. It was in good condition but needed cleaning and care. The wire stripper came as a surprise; first I though it was a rust hole. Examining it with a magnifier, I found it to be an intentional grind, 180 degrees of the blade edge, cut at an angle I think to be 45 degrees, to make a sharp edge for stripping wire up to about #12 gauge. Pretty handy work, I think. The knife is lighter and smaller than the traditional electrician's knife and, obviously, doesn't have a screwdriver blade. But the owner needed a wire stripper more than he needed a screwdriver. Brass frame, bolsters and springs are solid and square giving good walk and talk with half-stops. Cavity is clean and sanded. Handle slabs are pristine with badge on front. Brand name "Sword" harkens back to Wilkinson Sword razors but in fact is a trade name used by Camillus. Mailing only to USA-48. Postage is usually between $5.00 and $6.26. Buyer pays $4.00, I will pay the rest. Please see my other knives and save postage. I am liquidating my entire collection; please keep me in your favorite sellers, watching for Old Bryan's Old Knives or the seller name below.
