It really is a good read. But several things make it exceptional. Set on a beautiful Caribbean island, the descriptions of the culture, the church community, poverty, and difficult relationships really pull you into the novel. The characters are complicated, grappling with God about their suffering and His will. Highly recommended.I found this book to be a very Intriguing. . It was difficult to put the book down as the end of each chapter left me wanting to read on to find out what would happen next. It is a beautiful story of Gods redemption if we believe and trust in Him.I thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated this story of redemption. It was hard to put down.
