Description: This listing is for a rare authentic wooden coaster that came from the now closed tiki bar in New York City called The Polynesian. This tiki bar was located inside the Pod Times Square Hotel at 400 West 42nd St in Manhattan. Unfortunately the bar closed at the end of 2019 or beginning of 2020. This coaster dates from the mid to late 2010s when I received it personally from one of the bartenders at The Polynesian when I visited the bar. It is made of wood with what appears to be a laser etched logo of the bar on one side. The backside of the coaster is blank. The coaster measures approximately just a hair under 4" in diameter. In terms of its appearance and condition, it has only very minor signs of wear and overall is still in very good displayable condition. Since I received the coaster it's been stored in a smoke-free climate controlled home and away from any direct sunlight to prevent fading. It has no major defects or flaws of note.
