Description: In this listing we have a nice, but TLC replacement doll body. This doll body was released by Princess Grace and most likely dates from the mid 1960s. This doll body is similar to a vintage Barbie doll, but her feet are very similar to a Francie doll. She is articulated at the neck, shoulder, waist, and hips. It feels like she has wires in her legs so they should bend, but I would be careful bending them since it’s old vinyl and the legs might split. The doll is marked on the back as being made in Hong Kong. My pictures came out a little saturated, the colors are a bit more muted in person. This doll is in fair to TLC shape. It has some issues, but has a lot of life left to it. Please keep in mind that this is a clone doll so the original quality isn’t that best even when new. I have washed the body, but some dirt would not come off and it will need a more in depth cleaning. The doll’s torso is in good shape. It does have obvious seam lines along the sides of the upper and lower torso with some excess plastic along the seams. Some of the plastic is a tiny bit rough so it could snag clothing and might need to be trimmed off. There are some scratches and scuffs to the plastic. Some of the scratches are a little deep with some lifted plastic, the most obvious is on the front right side of the neck. On the back right shoulder there looks to be an indent in the plastic. I don’t think it’s a break, but it could be. There are some small spots of discoloration and marks to the torso, some of it could just be stubborn dirt, but some could be discoloration in the plastic. There is some textured spots here and there to the plastic. It’s not as smooth all over as it could be. The doll’s arms are in fair shape. They also have seam lines going up and down the arms with some excess plastic in spots. There are some scratches and scuffs to the arms. The ring and pinkie finger on the right hand are cut. There is a lot of small marks of discoloration to the arms. The legs are in fair shape. The legs and arms have a slightly yellow color compared to the torso. The left hip is slightly bulged out, but it looks like it’s from excess plastic left on the torso joint. It doesn’t fall off and moves fine. The legs also have seam lines going up and down the legs with some excess plastic in some spots. The legs are covered in little bumps all over them. I’ve seen this a lot from clone dolls, I think it’s part of the manufacture process. There are some dark spots here and there to the legs, these look like stains or something in the vinyl. There is some dark discoloration along the seams, especially inside the legs. There are some scratches and scuffs and some molding flaws to both legs. There is a bit of damage to the big toe on the left foot. Not sure if it’s factory wear or play wear. Please examine all pictures to see the exact condition of this doll body and please keep in mind some issues are more visible in person compared to pictures. This listing is for the doll body alone, the stand shown is not included. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have regarding this item. Thank you and have a great day!
