Description: This very rare poster was printed by Associated Displays Corporation which was a company based in New York City. From 1936 to roughly 1941, this company printed its own one-sheets and lobby card sets for three major studios (Warner Brothers, Paramount and United Artists, but no other studios). "Torchy Blane in Panama," released in 1938, is a crime mystery film directed by William Clemens. It is part of the popular "Torchy Blane" series and features Glenda Farrell as the titular character, Torchy Blane, a tenacious and sharp-witted reporter. Torchy, along with her fiancé, Detective Steve McBride, played by Barton MacLane, travels to Panama to solve a murder mystery involving stolen funds and international intrigue. Condition: Good to Very Good. The poster was folded in half a few extra times resulting in a light vertical foldline at left and right. It has some scuffs near Lane's image at bottom and some pinholes around the edges. It is otherwise in pretty nice condition!
