Description: For sale: Two OEM Stromberg 175 CD-2 carburetors, complete with the original linkage plate and a few other original accessories from my 1980 TR-7, included at no extra cost. These carburetors were professionally remanufactured/overhauled and completely disassembled by a mechanic from EKG Automotive who used to work in a TR-7 dealership in the '70s and '80s. I invested $600 just in the carb overhaul before COVID, totaling $1,395 for the entire overhaul process, including additional parts. Despite the investment, I ultimately decided to convert to a pair of new Weber carburetors and had my engine rebuilt, so these OEM carbs are no longer needed but remain in excellent condition. I’m selling these at cost, with no profit—just hoping they find a good home rather than sitting unused. The linkage plate alone is valued at over $50, and the other accessories are worth over $100. I'll also be listing additional items soon. I'm not a dealer or frequent seller—just an honest, retired military veteran looking to pass along quality parts.
