Description: Used flat mainspring housing for 1911 handguns with Gov’t or Commander style grip frames.Note no springs or pins included, just the back strap unit itself.Off of a Springfield Armory 1911Alloy steel with grey finish I cleaned it up, oiled it to prevent rust, and have it in a plastic baggie to keep it in good shape. It had minor surface rust that I removed.I don’t know the LPI of the texturing.
