Description: Welcome to my ebay store I will be downsizing vintage doll clothes in various sizes, and other supplies from my doll dr. biz--so do follow my store please! This listing is for a hand made mostly hand sewn Victorian style dress in a palest flesh pink with a stiff lining inside skirt. Trimmed with black ribbon that is threaded through the openwork lace typically of antique doll dresses. A sheer taffeta type fabric with offset shoulders-- no shoulder seam, and layers of ruffles to hem, each layer has a lace and black ribbon trim with bows in front. A gentle steaming/ careful ironing would really make it nice as it has been stored and has a few wrinkles, just be cautious using heat on taffeta before jumping right in. The neck area of bodice features a sheer embroidered tull with a deep pink lining inside. Row of buttons down front of upper bodice. Lace trims the sleeve cuffs. The bulk of the dress is hand sewn.and closes with buttons. See photos for measurements.If you are a handy person who sews, you might consider changing up the dark pink fabric at the neckling to something different and maybe more subtle in contrast. Just a suggestion. Suitable for a child doll more than a lady doll. Definitely proportioned for a compo doll body. Handmade and suitable for an antique or repro doll that you want to give a vintage look without the cost of a real antique dress. .
