Description: I personally bought this pin many years ago. I remember this pin catching my eye in the JC Penny display case. It was expensive to me at the time, like 70 some odd dollars. But I had to have it!! I mean, not only did it sparkle, but it was a parrot! I proudly pinned this on the lapel of my black suede coat. I hardly wore that coat, so it basically hung in the back of my closet. But when certain occasions came around, I would wear the coat, and I always got compliments on my parrot!! There are three different colors of rhinestones pink, yellow, and the green vaseline. It measures about 3 inches in length and about 1 inch across and is silver plated. I can't remember exactly what year I bought this, but I think it was back in the 80's. I can tell you it needs a good cleaning, I never cleaned it in all the years I've had it. It went from the back of my closet into my jewelry drawer. I cannot find where it is marked, so I tried to look it up. Sure enough, I found several pictures of my pin with some still on the original 1928 card. This sounds about right as I was really into 1928 jewelry back in the day.
