Description: Vintage Wabash Railroad uniform jacket is dark blue with gold colored Wabash buttons in the front and on the sleeves. There is a patch with stripes near one of the cuffs. The jacket has a makers label inside from Fechheimer Uniforms in Cincinnati. My husband takes a size 40 or so jacket and he tried this one on and estimates that it is a size 36 to 38 The back of the jacket is 32" long from the top of the neck to the bottom. The shoulders are about 19" across. Arm length is 23" from top of shoulder. It is about 21" across when laid flat, between the arm pits. When buttoned, it is about 42" around the middle of the jacket. The uniform jacket has two areas that are frayed, about 3.5" along the placket hem, just below the lower button and 3" along the lower edge of one sleeve. The rest of the jacket is in good condition, just somewhat dusty, I went over the jacket with a slightly damp rag and got rid of most of the dust, but there is still more that showed up in the pictures, this can be removed. The buttons along the front and on the sleeves are intact, the patch with the stripes on one sleeve is in good condition and the embroidered or sewn on lettering on the collar is intact and in good condition. There are no other rips or other damage.
