Description: Preowned vintage 1950's salt/pepper shaker featuring Beth Barton's Dozy tabby cat creation. Dozy has stripes, bright blue eyes and wears a yellow collar with a pink bow in the back. This kitschy piece always look like a clown cat to me - super rare item. Can be used to complete a set or on its own as a unique piece mid-century decor. Some light crazing to the paint in spots and wear in others as seen in my photos. I have dusted it with a light cloth, but not attempted to clean it beyond that. "Japan" is stamped on the bottom and is still legible although, over the years, has smeared it bit. Bottom cork plug is missing.
