Description: This is a vintage set of 54 (52 suited cards and two jokers) black and white standard sized playing cards. These cards were produced to celebrate the 250th Birthday of Detroit, Michigan. They are marked on the back "DETROIT 250TH BIRTHDAY FESTIVAL" with a crest or coat of arms. Each card face has a different historic photo from Detroit. Some are presented as portrait and some landscape. I have included photos of each suit. Please enlarge to view the individual historic photos on the card faces. Cards are in good vintage pre-owned condition. They do show signs of wear consistent with age and years of use. The Queen of Clubs has creasing on one of it's corners. Please see last two photos for a close up of the corner. Please review and enlarge all photos for additional details, views and measurements. Would be an interesting framed piece.
