DESCRIPTION: Vintage 1955 BeuscherAristocrat True Tone Baritone Bari Sax.Referred to as the Big B.Serial number is 3540231XX.I believe this was made in 1955.You are getting the baritone sax, neck piece, and the original case.Nothing else is included so you'll need a mouthpiece and neck strap.Low Bb.That is the original lacquer.The color is most like the closeups of the bell in photos 2, 3, & 4.Big fat sound!Big Bell's opening is 7.5" wide!See video. Vintage Condition. Still looks great for as old as it is!I loved it and played it for many years in the 1990s and early 2000s.All notes play well from the bottom of the horn to the top.All the keys work exactly the way they should.All the pads look decent, so you won't need those for a while.It can be played just the way it is, but you could get a tune up on it.Not needed unless something happens during shipping.I will pack it up well to try to keep it in its same playing condition.The one thing it does need is a good cleaning.Look at the photos well for those dirtier areas.I wiped it down, but it could use more extensive cleaning than that.Didn't want to take the chance on messing up its perfect playability. Some gold is gone in areas, some scratches, etc. from normal use.One tiny dent on top of neck piece.The mouthpiece cork is starting to rip at end (see photo 7).Case is the original and has wear and tear. There is a makeshift strap to make sure it stays closed when carrying.You could put another one on the other end (there is a place for one).Original handle broke so I took the closing strap and made a handle.If you make another handle for it, you can use that strap on other end.You will probably do well with getting another case for it.What is cool about it, is that it is the original case but will need work.Has that old smell to it too so it could use a cleaning if keeping it.
