Description: Vintage 1971 issue of the "Syracuse Gazette," an African American newspaper published in Syracuse, New York during the early 1970s. Features a photo of Eldridge Cleaver on the front while inside most notably is a "The Soledad Brothers Desperately Need Cash" advertisement. Also, an outstanding "register now" graphic, great advertisements, and more. It's almost a business directory for the African American community in Syracuse. About 11" x 17" unfolded, 8 total pages, newsprint. The folded cover is about 8 1/2" x 11". Good condition with tanning on one edge and a torn corner. See photos. The pages are still supple and not brittle. A wonderful piece of history and an awesome addition to any collection. I ship every day the post office is open with your item safely packed the way it deserves to be. I always combine shipping. Please see the Civil Rights section and the rest of my store for more museum quality artifacts.
