Description: Offered here is an ORIGINAL AMERICAN BLUE STORE DISPLAY SIGN from the 1930's. Made from thick, die cut cardboard, this sign has held up remarkably well - looks like it was never used. With nice vintage graphics, this sign measures approx. 8" x 8". Printed in Red, Blue & Yellow, this is the top portion for a larger store display. The product is bluing, a bleach-like substance called American Blue. The display marquis has an illustration of a bottle with a crimped lid. It says, "American Extra Strength Blue ~ Makes Clothes Snow White". Produced by America Bluing Co. Buffalo, N.Y. Will Not Spot or Streak. The display card has a scalloped shape with the words "Extra Strength" curled in a banner bifurcated by a remarkable illustration of a 2 ounce bottle of American Blue.
