Description: Extremely rare find. Patent dates on bulb of 1917 and 1918. Bulb and spout have some dry rot/splitting issues. Could use a thorough cleaning to show off details. I did not clean for fear of damaging the instrument and labels. Overall length of ~19 inches. No cracks in glass tubes. One bulb has 'ZEREX, PRESTONE, ALCOHOL' marked on table. Other side has table of 'when thermometer registers' 'the freezing point of solution is' and a label that reads 'NO. 18 - "ZERO-TESTER" FOR TESTING EVEREADY PRESTONE MADE BY E. EDELMANN & CO.
