Vintage Braniff International Ashtray

Description: WYSIWYG..............What You See Is What You Get, one ULTRA RARE VINTAGE Braniff International Commemorative Ashtray. This item is in great shape with no nicks, chips, or cracks. There is some yellowing from age, but no crazing. There are also either burns or tar stains from use. Almost all of the gilding is still intact. It has a diameter of 6-7/8". This ashtray was to commemorate the May 1969 Spring Festival in Acapulco, Mexico. I think that's what we call today Spring Break. On the wing of the plane are the letters "BI-TLPGA. This was made by the Davis And Stanton Advertising Specialty Co. in Dallas Texas. In my 30 years of picking & reselling, I have NEVER seen an ashtray like this one.
