Incise stamped lettering on the backside reads: USA - (Elias TM) - Fine Pewter - 1819 (see images). Constantine & Ruth Ellen Elias began producing fine pewter castings like this one in NYC back in the 1980's. Their namesake company "Elias Art Metal" produces fine photo frames to this very day. With no inordinate signs of use; the silver finish has a mild patina that only comes with time (see images).
