Description: VINTAGE Handmade VICTORIAN Christmas Bear - Decoration for Wall or Door. This is a VINTAGE handmade item, but when the bear with gown was crafted it was also created with the intention of having it look aged. The gown and lace was intentionally aged in appearance with what I assume is a tea staining method. Measurements: approximately 28 inches in length, 11 inches in width and 6 inches in depth. Beautiful detail, well-made - both the bear itself and the embellishing garments and accessories. This was purchased at the Brimfield antiques fair in Brimfield, Massachusetts, from a vendor who specializes in handcrafted items (bears, wreaths, Victorian decor and garden-inspired pieces).
