Description: Original galvanized front porch milk box from Hood's Milk, which is still in business today. Founded in the Boston, MA area in the late 1800's, these boxes were distributed during the era of home delivery of milk and dairy products. Box was manufactured by the Cumberland Case Co of Chattanooga, TN. Very good shape with no dents, cracks, holes, etc. Hinge and handle work as intended. Some marks and stains from age, but sounds and usable. Please see pics for further description and condition.
