Description: This is a beautiful 1934 early prototype Shirley Temple. She is the first doll ideal produced in the image of Shirley Temple. The marking on her neck as shown in picture reads COP Ideal N&T CO. Which means the copyright of Shirley Temple was pending. She also has numbers and letters on each arm pit JJ J8. Later the doll would have Shirley Temple written across neck and back. She has on her original take a bow dress, slip, bow, pin, shoes, socks and original blonde mohair wig. She has light cracking behind each ear and a chip in right toe. Her left shoe at snap needs to be stitched. Picture of doll in box was in the Ideal doll book and is not this doll for sale. She is absolutely stunning and almost seems to have been in a time capsule all these years. Please see all pictures before purchasing.
