Description: This is a beautiful Iron Mountain by Griswold #5 Cast iron pan. It's pattern number is 1030 . This pan dates from the 1930's-1940's. It is approximately 12 1/4" long including the handle, 8 3/4" wide including the pour spouts and 2 "deep. This pan is in excellent condition for it's age. It sits nice and flat on a hard surface. The cooking surface is very smooth and nice with only minor usage marks and some very light pitting here and there. As with any vintage cast iron, there are a few small scratches or imperfections, but there is no major pitting or cracks of any kind. This pan was seasoned with multiple layers of a product called Buzzywaxx. It is a combination of grapeseed oil, canola oil and beeswax specifically designed for cast iron seasoning.
