Description: This vintage Dansk cheese board was designed by Jens Quistgaard in the 1960s, but was likely manufactured sometime in the 1970s. It features a carved moat around a flat staved teak end grain surface in the middle. The design makes it perfect as a charcuterie tray - just put some cheese on the flat middle and some crackers and fruits in the moat. The board measures: 11" diameter 1" thick The flat cutting board surface in the middle is about 5" in diameter. The back of the board is marked "Dansk Designs International Ltd IHQ Denmark." This piece appears to have been used for display only. There are no knife marks on the interior cutting surface. The board is free from scratches or other flaws.
