Our items are purchased from yard sales, thrift stores & estate sales, so in general we do not know much about the history of the item,such as whether the home contained smokers or pets. In general, I try to steer away from anything that has odd smells or needs more than a light cleaning, and will add a note to any item that strays from that policy. I am more than happy to combine shipping for multiple items purchased at the same time. For the most part, I use recycled boxes to keep my costs low.
