Description: Being offered is a vintage meerschaum pipe. I could not find a makers mark on the pipe. The pipe is a hand carved head of what looks like an orthodox priest or monk. The bowl has never been used and looks intact with no damage noted. The stem looks like a butterscotch bakelite plastic but not certain of the composition. The stem is also unused. The bowl is approx. 4 1/16" long side view by 2 1/4" wide at its widest portion at the head. The pipe head is approx. 2" wide facing the head. The pipe is approx. 6 3/4" wide side view including the head and stem. There is a small smooth edge chip on the bottom base of the head which looks like it was smoothed out as if it was from the manufacturing process. Perhaps this was called a second. Aside from this I can not find any other issues. The pipe does come with a fancy black case or holder. I am not sure how to grade something like this so have taken close-up pics to help assess the items condition, what you see is what you get. Please feel free to contact me with any questions about my items.
