The madame is known for her eclectic taste in miniatures and she traveled to shows around the world to find all of the little treasures we are sharing with you. This precious, vintage, one-of-a-kind porcelain newborn infant baby doll will quickly become the new bundle of joy for your miniature family! She is made of porcelain with a jointed body and hand painted features. She is dressed in a long ivory silk and lace gown with a tiny matching bonnet and diaper. She is 1 1/2" tall but 4" with the length of her gown. The pram is listed SEPARATELY. THIS LITTLE BABY DOLL HAS TRAVELED THOUSANDS OF MILES JUST TO BE HERE...READ HER STORY. *This fabulous miniature belonged to, Madame 'Y', who lives in Kanagawa, Japan. For many years I have enjoyed a friendship with Madam Y. Her love of miniatures and her vast knowledge of artisans was something that we enjoyed talking about. Over the years I watched in awe as her collection continuously grew, she even had to expand her beautiful home on the sea just to house her collection of some of the finest miniatures in the world. When she decided to sell her collection, she contacted me so that I could tell her story and the story of each piece she has acquired, over all these years. Her hope is to find a home and share the story of every single piece. We have just begun to receive the boxes, all wrapped so well as they were all very special to her. She wanted others to know these incredible artisans, many she has met in person, from countries all over the globe and it is her hope that you will get to know them too, as we list them one by one.
