The optic is in great shape and provides clear and accurate vision. The conflict this scope was designed for is WW2 (1939-45), and it is an original piece from Germany. Sellers notes- The scope shows signs of wear, but the optic works fine and are clear (it was hard to get a good image of the cross hairs. The glass is not broken, chipped, cracked, dinged, etc. The glass is dirty and we did not attempt to clean the glass or the scope in any way. It is exactly how we found it. The outside of the scope does have the following- wear, scratches, “A4 scratched in on one side shown in the pictures”, rubs, marring, etc. Please look at all the pictures that are provided and ask questions.
