Description: Vintage Pair Arts Studio (Attitude & Arabesque) Ballerinas with Rare Wire Frames This auction features 2 beautiful wall figurines ballerinas Attitude & Arabesques from the Ceramic Arts Studio in Madison, WI. This company from the 1940's through the 1950's was very popular and produces numerous ceramics to grace the homes of America. Both figurines are in costumes of green wash with gold flowers and have ink stamped labels on back with mounting holes. Attitude is approximately 9" Tall - 6.75" W and Arabesque is approximately 10" Tall - 7" W. Both have what appears to be ceramic removal points on their backs. that attach together to wire frames on in the shape of an artist’s pallet with 2 rods which suggest paint brushes. Note that one of the brush tips is missing. These original wire frame are very rare and seldom seen with ballerinas. Could be used with or without these wire frames. In excellent condition with there is no chips or cracks.
