Description: Up for sale is a vintage wooden and brass "Show Me the Way to Go Home" bottle opener with a compass. It is approximately 8 1/8" long, 2 1/2" wide and 1/2" thick. I'm not sure of the age, but my grandparents owned a tavern in the 50's and 60's and I think this bottle opener came from there. It is in good condition. It has normal paint wear. The paper in the compass is a bit wavy and there is a tiny stain over the SE direction. The brass plate (which is the bottle opener) moves back and forth slightly. The compass kind of works but I wouldn't count on it if I were lost. See pics. Please visit my store. Besides my own items, I have been listing items from two different estates. Both people were collectors so there is a huge number of items and a large variety. I will be listing more items regularly so please check back often. Thanks for looking.
