This listing is for a vintage mouthpiece for Bb soprano clarinet. There is no brand name on it, but it is stamped "Steelite Ebonite", a common term for hard rubber. It is also stamped "France" lightly on one side, and "R4" on the other. It has one ring up, and three down, which suggests it could be made from Chedeville blank (although the "R4" mark might point towards Riffault). The tip opening measures 1.08mm (.042"). This mouthpiece is in good used condition. The facing is smooth and original. There are no tooth marks on the beak. The rubber is slightly discolored with some light scratching/scuffing on the exterior. The cork is in good condition. This mouthpiece has been cleaned/sanitized, so it is ready to play.
