The control panel battery was tested still holds a charge. Vivint security does require a subscription. What you see in photos is what you get. The photos show the DVR and control panel powered up but they are not connected to Wi-Fi. It also comes with 2 power supplies (for DVR and Control Panel) and cabling not shown in main photo. The Apollo smoke detector has been tested and works.
