Description: Here we have 10 x NEW BLUE CASEBACK GASKETS to replace SEIKO FH2980 and FE298. These are my new HEAVY DUTY, LONG LIFE seal sets for many SEIKO vintage watches. The EPDM material has superlative durability, steam, acid and oxidant resistance. They are also easier to fit as they are slightly more flexible than the old nitrile material. Included in the sale are the following seals - 10 x FH2980 or FE298 Flat Caseback Seals (substitute) The Vintage Time Australia Seal sets are an exact fit for this model and are based on the original specifications of the seals. Importantly, the seals are the correct height and width as per OEM spec. The common nitrile aftermarket part is thinner than the OEM spec and can result in water resistance issues. Water resistance is guaranteed to the minimum original specification (50m) as long as the seals are fitted correctly, the correct crystal is fitted and there is no corrosion in the case.
