Description: From an estate: a finished crewel embroidery of a birch tree in the wind. Birds are flying and leaves are blowing. Old wooden frame with twine trim. Measures about 23.25 inches by 29.5 inches including frame. Burlap backing and wire hanger. Evidence of water staining on the back, but this does not affect the picture on the front. Exact vintage unknown. This piece appears to be from a Paragon kit, although it is somewhat different than others we have found. A great addition for collectors of vintage embroidery.
