Description: Vintage Gorham CRYSTAL NATIVITY DONKEY Figurine W Gold Plated Reins W LABEL Germany Approx. 5.25" long x 4.5" high x 2" wideA stunning piece of crystal Artistry- the Nativity Donkey is a central part of any Holy Family Nativity Scene, and this one is amazing! Details on the face and body are superb- a gentle expression with one ear laid back and his head slightly lowered. Around his feet and legs are smoothly polished dimensional tall grasses. His saddle and reins are showstoppers- saddle is a frosted opaque crystal with blanket details and his reins are twisted GENUINE GOLD PLATED. Crossed over his back in a lovely and unusual shape. In excellent PRISTINE unworn/ unfaded/ undamaged condition. No nicks chips cracks scratches dullness or cloudiness. No wear or tarnish to genuine gold-plated reins. A fabulous Nativity collectible piece. Retired item, made in the years 1993- 2003. Very collectible. Gorgeous. Original GORHAM GERMANY gold foil label on underside. This one has exceptional clarity to the clear crystal and lovely details. Shown in indoor & outdoor lighting to best showcase how special/beautiful this piece is.
