Description: This is a beautiful unique Portieux Vallerysthal (PV France) Red Oval Fluted Covered Dish with a Bird Lid. This piece is truly unique. It does have some imperfections from the making of the dish. As you can see in the inside bottom of the bowl you will see 3 spots from the making of the bowl. Plus there are some bumps across the lid from the making of the bowl as well. There is only one actual chip and that is on the rose on the end of the bowl (Please see picture for detail). The rim has 3 spots that are also due to the making of the bowl. These small imperfections do not take away the beauty that is this dish. You will have a hard time finding another dish like this one.
